6 Gala apples
250 g wheat flour
150 g butter (cold)
3 tbsp sugar
pinch of salt
2 egg yolks
1 tsp cinnamon
1 vanilla stick
2 tbsp honey
coconut ice cream
Preparation
Knead the dough and chill it in the fridge – patience pays off!
Stew the apples with honey, cinnamon and vanilla – let the kitchen smell like a European orchard.
Roll out the dough, line the tin with it, add the stewed apples, and cover with crumble.
Bake for 40 minutes at 180°C and serve with coconut ice cream – a classic dessert with a tropical twist.
